Damien and Tiffany Galvin and their staff at Meat on Maitland are super pleased to recently have been named winners in the Australian Meat Industry Council’s NSW Regional Sausage King competition and the smallgoods competition.

“We were so excited to win these awards, all the hard work pays off,” Tiff said.

“We are very lucky to have amazing staff to help us achieve this. Thanks Paul Andrews, Ethan Brown, and Ted,” she said.

Meat on Maitland won gold with their traditional beef sausages, and Pork sausages in the Sausage King competition, and gold with a boneless leg ham in the Smallgoods competition.

They won silver in the bacon section.

The Gold winner in each category will now progress to the NSW State Finals on 5th September in Sydney.

All winners/placegetters will be presented at the NSW Industry Awards Dinner on 14th September at Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Sydney.

All NSW State winners will then proceed to the National Competitions in Sydney, in February 2020.

Tiff also paid tribute to local pork producer, Horton Valley Premium Pork for the continued supply of Quality Pork.
