Anglican Spring Flower Show

October 31, 2018

Everyone is welcome to come along to the Anglican Church Spring Flower Show this Saturday, 3rd November at the Wiseman Crowley Hall, Bingara.

The drought may affect some entries but hopefully people will come along and enjoy the day.

Photography was a little low in numbers last year, so hopefully our local photographers will enter some of their work. There is something for everyone and entry is free. At 9.00 am all entries will be accepted.

Our local preschool and school students will again display their work. Last year the artwork and handicraft was excellent.

The hall will be open at 10.00 am. Cakes, sweets, produce, home-made jams, knick-knacks and trash and treasure will be on sale. This year we will sell Devonshire tea, or sandwich and slice, for $5.00 a plate, and this will be available from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. Each serve will be given a lucky door ticket with prizes drawn at the end of the day.

Lenore has once again offered her time to display her new summer fashions, including Melbourne Cup outfits, all from Dewberry Lane, our local Bingara clothing store.  Following the fashion parade local artists, Tash Cooper and the Heaton family, will provide entertainment.

The last event of the day will be the announcement of champions and prize winners of each section.

chedules are available from most business houses for more details. If anyone has any flower or shrub cuttings or local produce you would like picked up, please contact Narelle Watts on 02 67241614.
