Ceramic Break Sculpture Park announces inaugural Triennial Travelling Quilters Challenge Competition

In an area that has an abundance of talented quilters, Ceramic Break Park owner and sculptor, Kerry Cannon feels it is time for a triennial event to showcase these talented quilters’ works to the public.

The exhibition will travel to seven locations from Stanthorpe Qld through to Tamworth NSW with several stops in between. Each location will exhibit the quilts for approximately one week each, with the prize winners announced at the second last location at Ceramic Break Sculpture Park before leaving to display at Ray Walsh House in Tamworth for two weeks.

The Grand prize, of a fantastic quilting sewing machine, and 2nd and 3rd place prize winners will be announced on Sunday 9th of September at Ceramic Break Sculpture Park.

Entry Packs cost just $5.50 per pack and consist of entry form, challenge rules and 3 squares of material to be included in the finished quilts. Entry packs can be purchased from Dale St George at Triple L, Sew Much More in Bingara, Warialda and Bingara Tourist information Centres, Fuller Gallery and Claypan in Barraba and Ceramic Break Sculpture Park, Warialda.
