Dabble in the Dust Art Exhibition & Opening, Warialda
31/08/2018 - 08/09/2018

The Warialda Art exhibition “Dabble in the Dust” is fast approaching with only three weeks to go before the big event! We open our exhibition with a cocktail party on Friday 31st August at 6.30pm at the Soil Con building, 47 Hope Street, Warialda for the opening of the Moor Street Art, and we are excited to feature a talented range of local and regional artists at the event.

The hilarious Dan Gilmour will be the master of ceremonies on the night entertaining the crowd with his dry wit and humour, so it is shaping up to be a very enjoyable evening. The night will include two free drinks on arrival to get the party started, a scrumptious grazing table allowing for free range grazing all night long, and a cash bar available to wet your whistle.

While you are enjoying a nibble and sipping a drink you will have the opportunity to browse and buy the wonderful array of art on offer. As a bonus during the evening there will be an auction of paintings that have been generously donated to the event by artists including Catherine Stewart, Robyne Burling, Suzanne Lane and David Moor; with all proceeds from the auction going towards the Drought appeal.

All other funds raised from the evening will contribute towards the upkeep of the Moor Street Art that is displayed around Warialda and help support the P&A art pavilion at the 2019 Warialda Show.

So if you consider yourself to be a little bit arty, are in the market for some fantastic artworks or if you just enjoy good food, drink and great company then this, is the event for you. Tickets are selling fast and are limited so don’t miss out, grab your tickets today, for $70 available online or drop and in see Nikki at the Warialda Information Centre who will be happy to help you purchase your tickets.

The Dabble in the dust committee thank everyone for their support and we hope to see you there. If you can’t make it on the night you are invited to drop by the gallery pop up shop, which will be opened from Saturday 1st September until Friday 8th September.
