Come to the Roxy Theatre Saturday 14th September and let the dreamy jazz of George Washingmachine wash away the dust of everyday life. George, a jazz violinist and singer, hails from Sydney and doesn’t play second fiddle to anyone.
After returning from a seven week tour of Europe including festivals and concerts in Switzerland, England, France, Germany and Hungary, George is very happy to be presenting this fabulous group including three of Europe’s most in demand musicians.

George and Bjorn will be ably supported by Dave Blenkhorn, Raphael Dever and 2018 country musician of the year Clare O’Meara.
Bjórn Ingelstam is a young hot shot trumpet player from Sweden, now living in Paris. George and Bjorn are going to create an incredible blend of swinging jazz and manouche music in the style of Stuff Smith and Jonah Jones.
This concert is a great opportunity to hear the meeting of European and Australian musicians at the top of their game presenting some very exciting jazz.
