Copeton Waters State Park
Play All Year Round

Copeton Waters State Park, consisting of a 900 hectare area of forest and open grassland, offers an excellent holiday spot for the whole family.

 

Copeton Dam holds approximately three times the volume of Sydney Harbour when at capacity.
 

 Fishing
Fishing is a big attraction at Copeton Waters, with yellowbelly, murray cod, catfish and redfin attracting many anglers.There are six person fishing boats for hire throughout the year and boat ramps are readily available. 

 

Adventure Playground
During summer, the 13.5 metre high, large twin waterslides and toddlers’ pool are open.There are two tennis courts and a six hole golf course, free of charge, for those who like to swing a club and there’s also a climbing wall for the more adventurous.  

 
 
 

Water Sports
Water sports enthusiasts are well catered for – Lake Copeton is a 4600 hectare water playground, offering the perfect environment in which to water ski, windsail, fish, swim or sail.  

   

Camping
The Park offers self contained cabins, on-site vans, powered sites, a camp kitchen and unlimited free-form bush camping areas right up to the waters edge.  It also boasts a coin operated laundry, 5 amenities blocks with hot showers and disabled facilities, free wood & gas barbecues.  A fully equipped kiosk operates all summer and during weekends in the winter months.
