Blues By The Riverbank has grown in stature over the last few years with visitors and residents attracted to the spectacular riverbank for an afternoon of family entertainment.
The lush green carpet of the Gwydir riverbank provides an idyllic venue for the four hours of non stop rhythm and blues classics delivered by local and touring artists.
The venue on the eastern upstream side of Bingara's Campbell Bridge gives the 500 people attending room to spread out, relax and enjoy the picnic atmosphere and non-stop live music throughout the afternoon.
No stage sets needed here, nature provides the backdrop of the beautiful Gwydir River and majestic Red Gums.
Proceeds from the afternoon go to a different local charity each year.
