The numbers of returned servicemen and women participating in the Anzac Day march are gradually declining as the years go by, but public support for the Anzac Day ceremony in Bingara continues to be strong. The 108th Warialda Show to be held on the weekend May 10, 11 and 12 is set to be a massive weekend of fun and entertainment for the whole family. Nearly 30% of Gwydir Shire residents have returned their Community Surveys. The rate of returns was quite similar across the shire, with 173 Bingara residents filling out and returning their forms, while 188 completed forms were received from the Warialda community. The total number of surveys so far received from across the shire stands at 571.
