Funding to commence Bingara’s long awaited Riverscape project was approved at last week’s council meeting, held in Bingara. $60,000 has been allocated for the project which is made up of $40,000 from council funds and $20,000 from the NSW State Government’s Community Building Partnership. Tis the season to be jolly, that's for sure, but prior to Christmas there were many families in Bingara feeling none too jolly.  Widespread bushfires, on the back of what felt like a seemingly endless drought was really starting to take its toll on the community...How a week can change things!
