More accolades for ‘once in a lifetime’ bull () 29-Feb-12 A local bull which, at the tender age of 11 months, blitzed the competition to win the Supreme Beast at the Bingara Show last year, has continued on his winning way.
Tycolah Jovial F77, born June 26, 2010, was given the same award at last weekend’s Inverell Show.

The show this year was a Hereford Feature Show, with strong competition from around the region.
Jovial, by Karina Cherry, won the 18 months and under 20 month class, and went on the win the Junior Champion and Grand Champion Hereford, before he went on to be Grand Champion of the Show, then supreme Beast.
Tycolah Principal, Steve Crowley, said that Jovial has been out to work, and is performing very well. Steve described him as a “once in a lifetime bull.”
Last year, the Crowleys took Jovial, then aged 10 months, to the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Jovial was almost too young to compete, making the grade by just five days.
In Sydney he won Junior Champion and Grand Champion Poll Hereford Bull.
Other Tycolah cattle which did well at the Inverell show included a heifer which won her class and went to be judged Junior Champion Hereford. Another bull won his class and was awarded senior champion Hereford. |
