If you have never seen the movie musical ‘The Greatest Showman’ or have never experienced it on the big screen, there is now an opportunity to do so while helping a young local girl achieve a dream. Sarah, a year 10 student at Bingara Central School has been playing trumpet for 8 years. Sarah is a member of the Gwydir Band, has played in the State Junior Wind Band and has been selected as part of The West of the Divide Band to tour Italy, Croatia and Slovenia in January 2019.
Over the past year Bingara businesses and local residents have been working hard to help Sarah with the cost of this once in a lifetime experience. This movie fundraiser would not have been possible without the help of the following local sponsors. North West Theatre Company, Film Club, Gwydir Shire Council, Roxy Theatre, Bingara Lions, Bingara CWA, Bingara IGA and Hardware, Bingara Central School (including Bingara Band Support Committee and Bingara P&C), and Cr.
