The 108th Warialda Show to be held on the weekend May 10, 11 and 12 is set to be a massive weekend of fun and entertainment for the whole family. Friday will start the weekend off with an Open Flag Race with $550 up for grabs for the top three winners, as well as the Open Six Bar event which will see a starting height of 1.2 metres.
Friday night will see the announcement of the Warialda Showgirl. The Open and Novice bull ride will start at 6pm along with some entertainment by Jamie Flegerbein who will also be entertaining on Saturday night.
Saturday will include a pet show at 11.30am, fashion parade at 1.30pm, cooking – ‘My Shed Rules’, World Class Mower racing, registered U Bute Road Bikes competition, a novelty fancy dress ride, monster musical ride, grand parade at 2.30pm , farmers challenge, Motorbike and bycycle stunts, demolition derby, billy boiling and some fireworks to top off a great night.
Officially opening the show during the Grand Parade at 2.30 will be Troy Bayliss. Troy is a former Warialda boy who went on to become a three times world champion Superbike rider. He has won 52 World Championship and is second only to Carl Fogarty. He finished his professional career in 2008 after winning the World Superbike Championships.
