This week the 2012 Gwydir Shire Council Survey will be posted to you. This survey will take you and your family about 20 minutes to complete. It is like a ‘Gwydir Census’.
The information you give will be used to shape our area’s future; what you value and what you want. Council requires the information to draft its Community Strategic Plan which will be a planning document for the next ten year period.
In an effort to get back as many completed surveys on or before Friday, March 30, 2012 Council is running a gratuitous lottery (conducted under section 4G of the Lotteries and Art Unions Act 1901) and is offering two fantastic prizes. The first an Apple iPad 32Gb Wi-Fi and second, a Phillips Blu Ray disc player.
To be eligible for this lottery you need to complete the survey, contact details slip and return both to Council on or before March 30, 2012. These prizes are worth more than $1000 so it will be worth taking 20 minutes to fill out the survey and shape your own future.
