A FEAST FOR ALL…AT THE ROXY

Friday evening March 7 is a date not to be missed by lovers of fine food and beer, as well as fans of fishing, fun and frivolity.

Bingara & District VISION 20/20 are delighted to host entrepreneur and brewing maestro, Dr Chuck Hahn, back in town for a presentation of “ALES…and Fish Tales”. Chuck was the special guest in Bingara several years ago at the launch dinner for VISION 20/20.

Then it was “ALES, and TALES” but with Easterfish just around the corner, and with the co-operation of the Bingara Anglers Club, “ALES …and Fish Tales” will incorporate an EXPOFISH theme with local fish being added to the menu along with fresh oysters and prawns.

Chuck Hahn, as master brewer contracted to Tooheys, devised many of their top brand products, like Hahn Premium Lager, Hahn Premium Light and Hahn Super Dry. Chuck has also pursued his own boutique range of beers and ales through the Maltshovel Brewery designing the James Squire range and the just released Barefoot Radler.

On the evening an eight course food menu is matched with Chuck’s selections of beers. He then gives the story behind each product and explains why the beer is suited to the different foods.

A maximum of 120 dinner guests will be catered for this year. Tables of ten are available. Bookings can be made through H. Fay & Sons office (6724 1303), Maitland Street, Bingara at $50 per head. The price, includes all food and drinks, and the evening’s entertainment, which will, no doubt, include a school of fishy tales.
