A new GP for Bingara

June 1, 2016

Rural and Remote Medical Services (RaRMS) and the staff of the Bingara Medical Centre are extremely pleased to welcome Dr Cho Oo Maung to the Bingara Medical Centre after he recently relocated to Bingara to work as a permanent GP.

Dr Maung

Dr Cho Oo Maung is looking forward to becoming part of the Bingara community.

Dr Maung will join Dr Lisa Brown in the Bingara Medical Centre as the regular GPs, with a replacement still being sought to fill the part time role that Dr Karen Coss occupied before her departure earlier this year.

Originally from Myanmar (Burma), Dr Maung has worked as a medical practitioner in Australia since 2009, and was most recently working as a GP in Merriwa prior to his move to Bingara. Dr Maung is available to see patients of all ages in Bingara.

Outside of work, Dr Maung is an avid reader who is working hard towards completion of his formal GP qualifications.

Please join the staff and Dr Brown from the Bingara Medical Centre in making Dr Maung feel welcome.

Appointments to see Dr Maung are available so please contact the Bingara Medical Centre reception on 02 6724 1900 to make an appointment to see Dr Maung.
