Bingara Central School Year 9/10 Hospitality students, celebrated the conclusion of their course by cooking and preparing lunch for their parents and grandparents.

Other special guests which included Deputy Mayor of Gwydir Shire Catherine Egan, General manger of Gwydir Shire Max Eastcott and a very special group of residents from Touriandi Lodge attended.

All the special guests got the chance to taste the success of the students and taste what they had learnt in their Hospitality course which had run over the first two terms of this year.

Some of the Year 9/10 hospitality students with TAFE teacher, Mrs Jenny Clancy, from Tamworth.who was very proud of the way the students carried out their duties.

Students had been doing a unit of work on sandwiches and so this is what they prepared for our guests. These were not the ordinary vegemite sandwiches; these were high class gourmet sandwiches that were very tasty.
