Bingara Preschool students spent the month of September raising funds for the Childhood Cancer Support Group by participating in the nationally recognized ‘Talk Like a Pirate Day’. The preschool set a goal to reach $150 to go to the charity which supports families affected by childhood cancer but blew their target away by reaching a fabulous $353.88, far exceeding the school’s goal.
Bingara Preschool Director, Charmaine Reading said the children got right into the spirit of the day by dressing in full costumes. “We are so proud of our preschool community raising funds this morning, for such a wonderful cause,” she said.
