An evening of rollicking good fun at the Roxy

April 10, 2012

It was a night of full-on humour for the smaller than usual audience that turned out last Thursday week for Sound and Fury’s Doc Faustus.

The largely female audience laughed heartily at the apparent ad libbed stand-up performance, which was, in fact, an (almost) fully scripted show.

The show attracted a different, younger, audience from most performances which have been to Roxy since it opened.

The performance was described as ‘absolutely awesome’, and ‘really cool.’

“I had tears rolling down my face,” one young woman told the Advocate.
