On Tuesday 18 April, Zac Russ from ARL Development and Peter Stevens from CRL Development held a Rugby League Kids to Kangaroo Holiday Clinic at the Gwydir Oval. It was a great success with 30 children from Bingara, Manilla, Inverell and surrounding areas learning new football skills that will help with their football future.
Each child that participated received a footy, kicking tee, waterbottle and boot bag. It was decided to hold the clinic in Bingara in the holidays to support the effort the Minor League committee have put into getting Junior League up and running again in the town.
Zac Russ said that he was very impressed with the facilities at the Gwydir Oval and would definitely consider running another clinic here in the near future.
