Association Committee has been inactive for some years now. Each year the committee has stayed together to ensure the funds raised over the years stays within the Bingara community.
The current committee and committees from the past have worked together and made the decision to release those hard earned funds back in to the Bingara community.
“The funds have been collected in ways of donations, playing fees and committee activities and this is our way of saying thank you for all your help and support from players to businesses and spectators of the sport,” said Basketball Ass. Secretary, Vanessa Patch.
“Some worthy recipients of these funds include Westpac Helicopter, Touriandi Lodge, Multi Purpose Centre, Bingara Fitness Centre, Bingara Central School P & C Association, Bingara Central School Canteen Support Committee.
“When choosing the recipients the committee took into account the needs of Bingara including health, fitness and local school children.
“We hope these funds are put to good use and we are sure they will be much appreciated,” said Vanessa.
