Bingara Bullets back on for 2016

It’s been a number of years since the Bingara Bullets played but 2016 is looking promising. With an influx of new interest in the town for a league team backed up by some veteran players, a new committee was formed during a meeting held at the Sportsmans Hotel last Wednesday night.

Graham Dixon was nominated to be the President and glady accepted as did vice president Steven McGarrity and Secretary/Treasurer Sharnah Gillogly.

The Bingara Bullets will take on teams from around the region as a Group 4 second division team.

“At this stage we have an enthusiastic committee who are keen to get the ball rolling for next year,” Sharnah told the Advocate.

“We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the vacant position of Head Coach for the Group 4 team.”

The Bingara Bullets Committee are also seeking expressions of interests for a major sponsor for 2016.

“We are also looking for any girls who might be interested in re-starting the Bingara Missiles League team,” Sharnah explained.
