The Spirit of the ANZAC tradition lives on strongly in Bingara, including the Bingara Central School.
At a special Anzac Commemoration Service at Bingara Central School last Wednesday morning, students took an active part in the service.

After an introduction and Welcome by school Principal, Mrs. Brooke Wall, and singing of the National Anthem, Karys Smith had the honour of leading the Welcome To Country.
School Captain Angelica Frewen delivered the prologue, and Prayer of Commemoration was read by Primary Vice Captain Phoebe Craddock. Phoebe and Charli Mack then took part in wreath laying. Ginaya Fernando recited the Ode, and Jacqueline Coombes and Jack Newnham raised the flag.
The responsible attitude shown by the students to their tasks greatly impressed the community members who were privileged to attend the service.
The commemoration ceremony was held because Anzac Day falls in the school holidays.
