On Wednesday evening, at Warialda High School, students, teachers, support staff and community members from local schools were recognised for their achievement and contribution to Public Education.

Students Gabbie Brennan, Meg Rampling, Emily Price, Jessica Laird, Arabella Munro and Macey Michell were presented certificates that recognised excellence in their classwork and school citizenship.

Teachers Di Gallagher, Ben Wright, Rebecca Brien  and Lindy Mill were recognised for their high level of professionalism and commitment to student achievement.

Judy Mack was recognised for her dedication and support for staff and students through her work in the front office and P & C member Marilyn Dixon was recognised for her contributions and fundraising efforts over a long period.

These significant district awards serve to recognise the importance made by so many that contribute collectively to the success and achievement of our school.

School Administrative Support Staff (SASS) are an essential part of school staffing and their contribution and effort at school is valued and appreciated by students, teachers and community. All public schools in NSW make special recognition of the work of Support Staff during this week. David Brennan and Judy Mack operate the front office, Ros Goodwin supports Primary and Secondary staff, Tanya Odell supports Secondary, Trevor Galvin maintains the grounds and Agriculture plot, Kate Muir works in Multilit, Lissy McDouall and Ray Allen work in Quicksmart, Sarah Abra and Gerry Amer support students and Richie Withers and Gwen Larkins clean the school. All their work is greatly appreciated.
