YEAR 12 FAREWELL ASSEMBLY
Today we congratulated and farewelled our Year 12 students for 2011. Seven in total, Gabbie Brennan, Meg Rampling, Danika Fields, Michael O’Brien, Tomas O’Rourke, Shaun Fletcher and Dean Turner.
This week these students complete 13 years of schooling and are the third class in recent times to complete the HSC here at Bingara Central School.
The Year 12 Formal will be held following the HSC exams on Thursday 17th November. Staff and students wish the class of 2011 success in their final exams and happiness and prosperity in their chosen path beyond school.
GWYDIR LEARNING REGION AWARD WINNERS
The annual Gwydir Vocational Education and Industry Awards night was held in Warialda last Thursday evening. Eight of our senior secondary students were recognised for this commitment and achievement in VET courses in school based traineeships and apprenticeships. Meg Rampling was given special recognition when she received the Regional Vocational Education Excellence Award for her achievement in both VET Retail and VET Business Services courses and her traineeship with the Bingara Bakery.
Congratulations to all these students for active participation in Vocational Education as part of their study towards completion of the HSC.
