Chess Champs
Today Ethan Quarello, Angus Armstrong, Jake Bilsborough and Darcy Smyth have travelled to Warialda Public School to participate in a  Primary chess  competition with Gravesend Public and Ross Hill Public School.

Deputy Principal Mr Bob Johnston has taken the team and he will be able to offer some  support and guidance this challenging and  tactical board game.  I wish the team a  successful and fun time.

Stage 2 Excursion
An excited bus load of Year 3 and 4 students departed with teachers Mrs Lindy Mill and Mrs Kathy Groth on Wednesday morning for their excursion to Cascades Field Study Centre on the edge of the rainforest near Dorrigo. Excursions like these are a valuable extension to the school curriculum and I look forward to seeing the photos and reading the stories that will be written about their experiences.

Public Speaking and Book Week
On Thursday, Secondary Public Speaking Finals are being held. This week there have been very exciting book readings in the Library at lunchtime. We will have full reports on both these special events next week.
