Bingara Community ANZAC CENTENARY CONCERT is sure to please all!

Producer Nancy Macinness and Director Rick Hutton have put together a wonderful concert to celebrate the significant event, the 100th Anniversary of the ANZAC landing at Gallipoli. The Concert will be held at the Roxy Theatre on the evening of Saturday April 18 commencing at 7:00pm.

Variety Night

A full program of songs, poetry and drama will feature performers of all ages, from across the region. Special guests will include the Inverell Male Choir, Peter Caddey, Sam Kennedy and Bernie Camden, all travelling from beyond our shire. Local artists include the Bingara Central School Primary Choir, Nedine Young, Jim Eykamp and Patti Steiger.

As well as songs, poems and stories from the War Years there will be some special re-enactments of the music that made those troubled times both sad and uplifting. The evening will feature a sing-along as the finale of the program, itself re-enacting the concerts that were held to raise funds and the spirits of the folks back home during the Great War and the Second World War.
