Bingara gets ready to buck away 2011

Get ready to enjoy an intense end to 2011 with the newly acquainted ABCRA Rodeo returning to town for its second year of action to be held Friday, December 30. Renowned as the toughest sport on dirt, the Bingara Rodeo for 2011 will boast some of the competitions biggest names.

Competing on the night will be Australia’s best cowboys and cow-girls. These include Uralla Cowboy Duncan Elks, Australia’s current leading ABCRA champion bull rider; the nation’s Saddle Bronc leader, Luke Morgan; current Australian bareback champion Dee Heineman, and the nation’s top time event competitors including our very own Stuart Dixon, will make their way to Bingara to fight out the new seasons crown positions.

As part of the final trek toward the ABCRA National Finals in January 2012, Bingara Rodeo will draw the toughest competitors to its grounds for the full rodeo program. The country’s finest Rough Stock will also be on display with the Gill Brothers and Fitzsimmons Brothers bucking stock on show, a mixture sure to display the capability of this nation’s top cowboys.

Gates will open at 2pm for a 4pm start. Bar and music entertainment will continue the festive season celebrations. The night is bound to present high class action, high class cowboys and an intense finale to 2011.
