Preparation for the 2013 minor league season is well underway with the committee meeting last week to plan for this Saturday’s registration day at the pool, 12:00pm with a free sausage sizzle for all children who register and their families.
Due to the first round being played on March 16, this will be the ONLY sign-on day this year so make sure all interested players and parents come to the Bingara Pool 12:00pm on February 9 to meet the committee, ask any questions you may have and sign your child up for the greatest game of all!
All children aged 6 (this year) – 12 can sign up for junior league. Only boys can sign up for under 14’s and older, however for the first time girls are now invited to play League-tag in conjunction with minor league, Girls aged 13-15 are invited to sign up for the inaugural competition, so far ALL teams in group 19 have a team of girls for this competition, it would be a shame for Bingara girls to be the only ones who miss out, girls must be 13 before December 31 this year to be eligible to sign up, we already have a willing band of helpers and a coach, all we need now are the players.
Also, this year, for the first time ever all registrations for league and league-tag receive a FREE BINGARA BULLETS TRACKSUIT, new registrations will also receive a Bingara minor league polo shirt, shorts and socks will be available if needed!
Simply sign up on Saturday and nominate your child’s size.
After the schools visit from the NRL Manly Sea Eagles players on Monday the kids are all pumped up and ready to play. Once numbers are sorted into their teams training will commence Tuesday, February 19…see you there!
