Only one week to go until the first game of Minor League for 2009 and this will be a home game commencing Saturday May 2.
The under 8s will kick off the day at 10am. At request of coaches could all players be at Gwydir Oval half an hour before your game is due to start. This will allow time to sign on and warm up prior to the game. Teams that will get a definite run this year are 8s,12s and 14s.
Under 10s have eight committed players. They unfortunately need another 5-7 players. If there are any boys out there who were born in 1999 or 2000 please come forward if you wish to play minor league.
If not, these eight enthusiastic boys and girls are going to spend yet another year on the side lines. I would like to thank the 10s that did sign up. We hope we can get the numbers.
There are also some committed boys in the 12s and 14s that have not yet registered. Please do this as soon as possible.
A reminder that head gear and mouth guards are compulsory up to and including U-12s.
