Bingara Minor League news

December 8, 2008

After a successful AGM last Sunday, the minor league has a committee for the 2009 season.

Paul Mclachlan was elected president and once again welcomed the challenge to get minor league up and running. This year saw some changes in the positions within the committee. The assistant secretary and treasurer positions were removed, being filled with a publicity officer and a canteen co-ordinator. It’s great to see some new faces.

There are still vacancies on the general committee, so if you are interested in being a part of minor league please feel free to contact Paul Mclachlan on 6724 1098 a.h.

The Bingara Bullets, Missiles and Minor League will be holding their Christmas Party on Saturday December 13 at the recreation area of the Sportsman’s Hotel commencing at 6 oclock. All Minor League players who signed up for the 2008 season and those who wish to play in 2009 are welcome to attend.

Santa will be arriving for the children. I think he is keen to meet some of the future Bullets.

Please contact Rod King, Kyra Beasley or Paul Mclachlan if you would like to join in the celebrations. Bingara Minor League will be running a raffle at the Christmas carnival this Friday. You could have a chance to win a signed footy ball from one of your favorite teams. Don’t worry – we don’t have any manly balls!

For any further information on the 2009 comp, please feel free to contact Paul Mclachlan.
