After seven years in Bingara, Carlton and Linda Orr have sold the Bingara Licenced Post Office to local family, the Adams.
Former owners of Bingara Licenced Post Office were delighted to welcome new owners, the Adams family, represented by Post Master, Kris.
The new Postmaster, Kris Adams, who moved to Bingara with his parents, Steve and Elizabeth, (a Bingara girl,) and siblings Naomi and Matthew when he was in primary school. He has been living in Inverell for the past 11 years.
Carlton and Linda have moved to Coffs Harbour, closer to family. “We are both sad but excited about the love,” Carlton said. “We love Bingara and would like to thank everyone who has supported us, and we welcome the new owners and wish them all the success for the future and hope the town supports them as they have supported us.”
Kris said he was excited to come back to Bingara and is looking forward to running the post office, working with staff members, Cathy Anne Andrews and Tom Fullerton.
