Bingara Show this Saturday

May 22, 2019

The Bingara Show Society has thumbed its nose at the current drought, and is holding the annual show on Saturday. The show this year will be a one day show, but there will still be plenty for visitors to see and do at the show.

Officials will be at the showground on Friday, when all pavilion entries will be received, and wool entries accepted. Judging in the wool and pavilion will take place on Friday, ready for exhibition on Saturday.

Last year, the re-introduction of poultry to the Bingara Show was a great success, and will be again a feature of the show. Good entries are expected, as the Warialda Poultry Club will hold a club show on Sunday, and exhibitors are expected to show in both shows. The Poultry shed opens on Friday afternoon, ready for the show on Saturday.

Saturday will see showjumping, and ring events in three rings run concurrently. Cattle and sheep will be judged on Saturday morning.

The show concludes on Saturday night with the popular Rodeo.
