Bingara turns pink for breakfast

November 5, 2015

Records were broken once again at last Friday’s annual Pink Ribbon Breakfast. The event hosted by The Bingara MPS in conjunction with the Imperial Hotel saw a massive 250 people get together for a tasty breakfast to help raise funds for the Cancer Council.

Imperial staff Leticia Nicolle, Casey McClymont, Imperial Hotel owner, Noelene Ozols and Jo Coss volunteered their time to the great cause.

“It was another very successful year with all the funds going to the Cancer Council of NSW for breast cancer and other women’s cancers,” said organiser Tiffany Galvin.

“This wouldn’t run as smoothly each year without all the people who volunteer their time to help and make donations for the day as well as everyone who comes and supports us each year.

“Thank you to Noelene and Erik without them this would never be possible, to all their great staff that donate their valuable time each year it’s so much fun working with them and of course to all the wonderful staff from the MPS.

“Each year we get better and things get easier, we all now have our own jobs and things seem to run very smoothly.”

While figures of how much was raised are yet to be confirmed, organisers are very grateful to those who supported the event.
