Celebrating Australia Day with the local community at the Bingara Museum was the new Bingara Central School Principal, Jennifer Bird.

Jennifer, who is originally from Newcastle is very excited to have relocated to Bingara after being out at Walgett and Coonamble in most recent years.
“I have passed through Bingara many times over the years and thought what a lovely town it is,” said Jennifer.
“It is quite a pleasure to be here and I look forward to getting to know everyone and working with the school and wider community over the next year.”
Jennifer has spent many years teaching in Vanuatu and in rural NSW and is pleased to be continuing her work in a rural school.
The new school year promise to be an exciting one with lots of great events happening.
This week saw some great new teachers joining the staff at Bingara Central.
