Last weekend Bingara’s Frog Racing team headed to Gympie for the fourth round of the Queensland Pro Kart Endurance Championships. The team has been the ‘quiet achievers’ of the competition this year, working their way up from 10th to 5th position over the last few rounds.
The weekend race consisted of a one hour sprint on Saturday, followed by a six hour endurance race on Sunday.
Boss Frog, Alan Bilsborough, said he is happy with the team’s overall performance. “It has been a very close competition this year, with the leader board changing all the time,” Alan said. “There are only 10 points between 5th and 6th place, and 40 points between 4th and 5th place. With two rounds remaining, Team Frog are confident of a solid finish to a very tight season,” Alan said.
