Seniors from throughout the Gwydir Shire throughly enjoyed the Seniors Ball hosted by Bingara HACC last Friday week.

Bingara HACC received funding under the NSW Seniors Week Grant program to hold the daytime Seniors’ Ball. Bingara HACC staff and volunteers were assisted by Warialda HACC, Naroo and Touriandi staff, who brought residents to the ball.
Hazel and Dudley Lewis were awarded a prize for being the ‘Most glam couple’.
The ‘Most elegant lady’, was Norma Hart, while the “Most dapper Gentleman’ was won by Jack Canham. Gordon Fletcher picked up the award for the ‘Best male dancer’ and Noni Rampling was judged ‘Best female dancer.’
Lucky dance prizes were awarded to Alice Patterson, Chris Wood and John Walton. The raffle was won by Shirley Quinnell, who donated the prize back to be raffled later on in the year.
Over 100 people attended the ball.
