This Sunday, March 4 is Clean-up Australia Day and Bingara and District Vision 2020 have nominated for the area between The Junction to the Bingara Golf Course along the Gwydir River foreshore.

Between 9:00am and 12:00noon they plan to remove all rubbish and a lot of weed growth. Any interested helpers are welcome to come along and join in the effort. Bring your outdoor gear, at least one “weapon” for digging, carrying or disposing, and a can-do attitude.
Helpers with a car trailer are especially invited to assist. Please assemble at the eastern end of the Riverside park from 9:00am. The Bingara Lion’s Club will be conducting a barbecue at Cunningham Park after the clean-up.
Citizens are reminded that the monthly General Meeting of Vision 2020 will be this Thursday night from 6:30pm at the Imperial Hotel. Items on the agenda include the reprint of the “Imagine” Tourist Brochure, progress with the Living Classroom and the soon to be released community survey.
