Come one, come all to the Aussie Community Christmas Carnival

November 30, 2011

The Aussie Community Christmas Carnival will be held on Thursday December 8 2011.

At 3.15pm you can enjoy afternoon tea in the front yard of the Neighbourhood Centre.  At 4 pm Book Club Volunteers and older children, will marshal all children in the front of the Neighbourhood Centre to form into decorating and caroling groups.  These groups, accompanied by their group leader, will then decorate the business houses’ Christmas trees, singing carols and spreading Christmas cheer.

There will also be fun and games at the Neighbourhood Centre from 6.15pm.  Bring along a picnic dinner, or enjoy a meal from one of our local food outlets.

At 7 pm Santa will arrive.  You can tell him that you have been good all year.  You can even have your photo taken or deliver your Christmas letter direct to the ‘THE MAN’ himself!

The Bingara Lions Club will then present Carols by Candlelight at Fay’s Park.

At 9 pm the huge Christmas tree will be lit.  The lights are proudly provided by National Australia Bank.

Come along and enjoy an Aussie Christmas community party.  Dress up in your thongs, bluey and boardies.  Slap on some zinc and a great big smile.  Catch up with friends and family. Be entertained as you do some late night shopping.
