Difficult and disappointing day for Bingara Bullets

July 4, 2010

An understrength Bingara Bullets went down 44-14 to the Warialda Wombats at Warialda last Saturday week.

Bullets and their supporters were more than a little surprised to find they were up against the Wombats “A” grade side plus a couple of reserve graders.  “It seems there is one set of rules for reserve grade, then anything goes when you play Bingara,” one disgruntled spectator remarked.

“Specially when the Wombats trot out their ‘A’ grade captain coach who happens to be the group 19 rep side captain, and he plays 65 minutes of the game against us.”

The Bingara boys battled hard all day but it was never going to be easy with only three reserves on the bench.

Graham Rampling kept up his average with another two great tries, with the other try to speed machine Kyle Miller.

Mick Wade was the Bullets best and has the stitches to prove it, with great support from Peter Anderson, Graham Rampling and Kyle Miller. The boys all had a go and can hold their heads high. Supporters votes were 3 to Mick Wade, 2 to Kyle Miller and 1 to Graham Rampling. Players’ player was Peter Anderson.
