September 10, 2007

Bingara Central School Students from Years 4-8 have designed a new ‘Google’ logo which depicts “What Australia Means to Me” as part of an Australian wide competition. Each school was allowed to select 8 designs to enter the competition. The winning design will be used on the Google site on Australia Day 2008.

Bingara Central schools lucky entrants are:
Courtney Lumby-Wilson, Ashley Butler, Mitchell Heal, Mikayla O’Connor, Emily Price, Cameron Fletcher (Year 6), Hannah O’Rourke (Year 7), and Clayton McCosker (Year 4). These students also had to write a 100 word essay on what their design was about.

Good Luck to all entrants!
