Essential Energy has made $350 available as prize money for the 2011 Christmas House Lights Competition. The winners have been presented with a Bingara Bucks Voucher and instructed that they can present the voucher to any Bingara business other than the Regent Café who is not participating.
If a winner presents the voucher, it is as good as cash. The receipt for the winner’s purchase needs to be presented to Council and the amount will be reimbursed up to the value of the voucher within 7 working days.
A great majority of business owners were already aware of thes concept when vouchers were handed out at the Willoughby Spring Festival.
The winners are:
- 3rd prize Sam Briody – $50 voucher
- 2nd prize Ben and Jayne Roberts – $100 voucher
- 1st prize Tony Hayes and Margaret Black – $200 voucher.
Essential Energy normally gives Coles vouchers but as Bingara does not have Coles a request was made and approved that we give Bingara Bucks.
