Daffodil Day in Bingara
23/08/2019

Daffodil Day is on Friday August 23. Why don’t you buy some daffodils for a friend to support the hope of a cancer free future?

Daffodil Day is an iconic fundraising event across Australia, started in 1986 in NSW. It is Cancer Council’s longest-standing fundraising event. Across NSW alone, more than 4,500 volunteers will man 650 stalls on Daffodil Day.

DaffodilsThe aim is to raise $$ through the sale of merchandise like pins and flowers, as well as on line donations for Cancer Council NSW’s research, prevention programs, support services and advocacy campaigns.  Cancer Council is the largest independent funder of cancer research in Australia.

Local volunteers from the Bingara and District Cancer Action Group will be in attendance at the Maitland Street Stall site on Daffodil Day.

A range of merchandise as well as cakes and produce will be on sale for this deserving cause. Donations of saleable goods is most welcome!

If you wish to order flowers and have them delivered to you, please call 0427 241 632.
