Top dogs to perform at Upper Horton
09/06/2017 - 12/06/2017

Upper Horton Sports Club will be conducting their annual Championship Trials from June 9 to 12.

Originally started as a one day event, it has now grown to four days.

Early entries have been good, coming from a wide area of NSW. The feature event will be the Championship Open Yard Dog Trial, which carries with it the Paul Hodges memorial trophy.
There will also be novice, maiden and encourage events. Held in conjunction will be an arena trial with Open, novice and encourage events.

The trial is receiving good entries for the encourage events, which should be good for future trials. The dog high jump will be held on Sunday lunch time June 11. This is a very popular event, so if you have a dog that can high jump bring him along and join in the fun.

Depending on entries there will be a dog auction on Sunday with the demonstration beginning at 11.30am. The dogs have to be working and under control. Should you have a dog for sale or wish to buy one, please contact Barry Madden.

There are good facilities on the sports ground, which is looking great.

Also meals and refreshments will be available and also meals at the Sports Club at night. The club will also have entertainment on Saturday night.

It should be a great weekend, so come along and enjoy it. The committees would like to thank their loyal sponsors, who are very much appreciated.

Please direct enquiries to Barry Madden, organiser on automatic phone/fax on 6782 7296.
