After much deliberation the $200 cash winner of the Eye on Gwydir Section is Nicole Gillogy with a photograph which captures the essence of hardwork; a busy shearing shed. Anyone who has worked in a shed knows that along with the back breaking work there is a lot of fun and always a celebration when the last sheep is shorn.
|Nicole is very happy with her win and encourages everyone to have a shot and enter the competition. Nicole said she uses photography as a way to relax and she says she loves to grab her camera and catch her kids at play.
Entries are now being taken for the “Fitness, Outdoor, Team Sports” section of the Eye on Gw-ydir photography competition which is a joint initiative of Gwydir Shire Council, Bingara & District Vision 20/20, Warialda Chamber of Commerce and Warialda Works.
There will be another $200 up for grabs, vouchers for high quality junior entries, and the overall prize of $1200.
