Film Club announces program for 2016

December 10, 2015

North West Theatre Company Film Club has announced their 2016 program of special movies. As in previous years, the accent is on variety. There are many films that never make it to regional cinemas, particularly foreign movies, and many that are never seen in television programs.

So the search is very much for the odd and interesting – but, above all, entertaining. The 2016 program is a great mix of comedy, drama and foreign films.

NWTC Film Club finished 2015 with 42 members. Memberships for 2016 are already coming in, and it is really easy to join. Membership for the whole year costs only $60 – for this you get 11 great films which will continue to be screened on the last Sunday of each month at 4pm. The exception to this next year will be in March, when the film will be one week earlier to avoid a clash with Easter Sunday.

How to join?
Either contact John Wearne 0418 419 684 or Secretary Ros Moulton 02 67241 613, or talk to Jen Mead at the Bingara Information Centre.

Why not consider giving membership as a Christmas gift? Gift certificates are available, and make great Christmas presents.

The 2016 Film Club program is:

  • Sunday February 28 – “The Great Escape” – 1963 – 165 mins.
