Fraser takes out Thompson Cup

The 2015 Thomson Cup was a very successful day for the Central School. Students participated in a range of events, with some records being broken.

The march was won by Laver and the overall winners for the day by a narrow margin was Fraser.

The record breakers for Thomson Cup were Jack Walton who broke the 800 metres, previously held by Daniel Rafter, and Maryellen Honeysett broke the Javelin record which was previously held by Danielle Riley.

Age champions for the day were: Junior Primary Boy and Girl were Brody Michell and Madeline Standerwick. 11 year Primary Boy and Girl – Peter McFarland and Brooke McKinnon; Senior Primary Boy and Girl – Sam Perrin and Macey Michell; Junior Secondary Boy and Girl – Thomas Honeysett and Jacqueline Coombes; Senior Secondary Boy and Girl – Lachlan Butler and Chloe Butler; Open Secondary Boy and Girl – Jack Walton and Maryellen Honeysett.

Students who attended and participated were congratulated for their good sportsmanship throughout the day.
