Have you ever wanted to learn how to weld? Perhaps it’s to start a new business interest or a hobby. Perhaps it’s to expand an artistic desire.
Maybe it’s just to refresh the knowledge and skills you already have.
The Gwydir Learning Region (GLR) will be conducting a combined course in "Perform Routine Gas Metal Arc Welding" and “Perform Routine Manual Metal Arc Welding" during this autumn and winter period.
The Welding Course will be conducted at the Warialda Trade Training Centre and be under the instruction of Kingsley Grills.
No prior experience is necessary and Kingsley is confident that he can progress even beginner students through to competency.
A GLR Certificate of Attendance will be provided for those completing the course.
The cost for the Course is $240.
Almost all equipment and materials are provided. Students will only need to provide their own sensible, long sleeved cotton drill clothing.
The Welding Course will run with a maximum of seven students and will be conducted from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday Nights over 8 weeks.
