Avie Egan, celebrating her 106th birthday.
Mrs Avie Egan celebrated her 106th birthday on Sunday with her three children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Ian and Cate Egan.
COVID-19 prevented other family members travelling, but thanks to modern technology Avie spent the morning fielding calls and enjoying FaceTime with friends and relatives. Avie enjoyed her celebration and said it was the best party she has ever had.
Avie moved to Touriandi in October 2019 and is enjoying her new home and the care she receives.
