How to deal with a changing world.

Penny Blatchford will be the guest speaker at the June General Meeting of Bingara and District VISION 20/20. The meeting is open to all and is once again supported by our local New England Mutual Credit Union.

The date is Thursday June 12, the place the Roxy Conference Room, Bingara, and the time 6:00pm for our General Meeting, with Penny to present at 7:00pm, and with supper to follow at 8:00pm.

There is no cost for the meeting and supper, and both V2020 members and non-members are most welcome to attend. If you are interested in or have concern for the future of our rural towns and districts then you should consider attending.

Penny BlatchfordPenny Blatchford is a dryland cotton and grain farmer from Gurley, near Moree in North West NSW. She has a strong track record for representing and leading the community and farmers of the North West and is passionate about protecting land and water resources from coal seam gas and inappropriate mining.

Penny is a board member of the new North West Local Land Services and she has had tilts at politics and community representation. She passionately and methodically pursues both the opportunities and the threats to environmental and economic issues in the North West region covering the Gunnedah, Gwydir, Liverpool Plains, Moree, Narrabri, Tamworth and Walgett Shires.

Penny is inspirational and V2020 believes that she is a most appropriate speaker to have at our dinner meeting. Please consider coming to this meeting and bring your examples of community ideas and issues to discuss with Penny.
