Thursday, May 28 is a day to join Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and help the Cancer Council raise vital funds for life-saving cancer prevention programs, world class research and support services for people affected by cancer.
Local residents are doing just that! In Bingara – Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea will take place at the Roxy Theatre from 9.30am on Thursday May 28 and all are welcome to attend.
The Cancer Action Group is again taking orders for Morning Tea deliveries in the town area. These may be ordered by ringing Robin Hansen on 6724 0057, or Ruth Reece on 6724 1632. Volunteers are needed to cook scones and cakes, and to assist with the preparation of sandwiches at the Roxy from 7am so if you are available your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
